Alex Lugones

PRODUCER, DIRECTOR & EDITOR

about

"My interest in visual communication arts is eclectic."

My achievements are proof. Not only am I an award-winning filmmaker, I cater to such prestigious clients as Con Edison, IBM, Corning, Duracell/Gillette, Mercy College, Discovery Channel, MTV, and AT&T. I developed one of the first CD-ROMs to link to the Internet for Corning. I designed and visualized lighting schemes for major billboard constructs in Times Square (Cup of Noodles, LG Electronics, Budweiser and Loews Theatre). I won numerous corporate video awards for Con Edison which include Telly, AiME, New York Festival, Worldfest Houston and Communicator Awards. I also created nine motion graphic ads for Con Edison, prominently displayed on two large 10 by 100 feet LED signs behind Yankee Stadium’s home base. I have a B.F.A. in filmmaking from S.U.N.Y. at Purchase and showcased my senior thesis film at the Metropolitan Museum of Modern Art and the Whitney Museum.
